Place 4 thick butterflied pork chops in a large plastic zipping bag. Pour marinade over pork chops; turn to coat. Seal bag and refrigerate for 2 to 4 hours, turning bag occasionally. Drain, discarding marinade. Grill chops for 5 minutes per side, or until juices no long run pink.
Hunk o’ Steak Pineapple Marinade
Revive the drive-in movie tradition in your own backyard! Call a local camera or rental store for a video projector…simply hook it to a DVD player and project your favorite movie on a big white sheet or painter’s cloth. Sure to be a hit!
Serves 6 to 8
2 c. olive oil
1 onion, chopped
1/2 c. red steak sauce
1/2 c. Worcestershire sauce
20-oz. can pineapple chunks
2 c. regular or non-alcoholic beer
1 c. white wine or beef broth
2 T. granulated garlic
1 T. seasoned salt
In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine olive oil, onion and sauces. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 to 10 minutes. Add pineapple with juice and remaining ingredients. Simmer an additional 5 to 10 minutes; let cool. Use immediately, or cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
